Chamal Rajapaksa, Minister of Irrigation and State Minister of Home Affairs says that the service minutes of Grama Niladharis have been prepared and submitted to the National Salaries and Remuneration Commission for approval.
The Minister made this observation at a discussion held at the auditorium of the Ministry of Home Affairs yesterday (15) with the leaders of 11 trade unions to resolve the problems of Grama Niladharis.

The Minister pointed out that the existing minutes of the Grama Niladharis will be resolved after obtaining the approval of the National Salaries and Cadres Commission.

The problems of the Grama Niladharis have been solved for many years. The Minister instructed Mr. M. Chithrananda. Minister Chamal Rajapaksa further stated that he appreciates the commitment of the Grama Niladharis in the development of the village.
