State Minister for Home Affairs Ashoka Priyantha has been appointed as the Acting Minister of Public Administration, Home Affairs, Provincial Councils and Local Government. This appointment has been made by the Honorable President Ranil Wickramasinghe. As the Prime Minister and Minister of Public Administration, Home Affairs, Provincial Councils and Local Government Mr. Dinesh Gunawardena has gone to China for an official visit, Mr. Ashoka Priyantha has been appointed to look after the ministerial position until he returns to Sri Lanka.
